    Cool veneer has come loose

    Dear dentist,

My veneer has come loose. It is at the front of my mouth and i am worried it will drop off at an embarrassing moment.

Im also getting sensitivity from the tooth when ever I drink water or anything cold. It causes shooting pain which at times is very painful.

Will the dentist be able to glue the veneer back on for me, or will i have to pay a lot of money for a new veneer? If I have to have a new veneer what will I have on my tooth whilst my new veneer is being made?

    Wink veneer has come loose

    Hi

Thank you for your post. We need to first see your tooth and your veneer to see if the veneer can be saved. If the veneer fits well, it can be recemented.

If the veneer has chipped or fits poorly, then it needs to be remade. If we need to remake your veneer, we will provide you with a temporary veneer to cover the tooth and provide cosmetics and prevent tooth sensitivity.
