tooth absces

Hi,

Good Afternoon,

I need advice what to do ?

I have tooth absces since last year and my dentist insist to take the tooth off but i am not satisfied so sometimes i feel pain or strong headic at the same side of my tooth and also now it started little pus coming from this absces please give me advice my dentist has told me i can take treatment but it will coast me alot so i am not ready and at the same time i dont want to take my tooth off.

Than you for your question.

If you have an abscess with a tooth that has been there for long to the extend that pus is coming out and your dentist has said it has a poor prognosis, you I suggest you considering extraction of the tooth as much as you do not want to do it.
It is not a good idea to live with a big infection in any part of the body like your mouth and jaw. The best I can suggest is to have a second opinion to ensure that your tooth is beyond saving and if so then seriously consider its extraction. We would be happy to do that for you.
