    Question Lost fillings

    Hi

My son was involved in an accident today and as he fell, I belive he lost 2 of his front teeth fillings. He had these white fillings placed a few years ago after a football accident left these teeth chipped.

When I looked at his teeth today, I could clearly see that they looked shorter and did not look right. Also he is complaining that both of his front teeth are sensitive now. We are due to go on holiday on Saturday, so I dont want him to have any problems whilst he is on holiday.

Could you tell me what can be done to replace these lost fillings? Do they need temporary fillings or can the proper final fillings be made now? Can the Pearl emergency dentists see him on Friday morning?

    Default Lost fillings

    Hi,

    Thank you for your question.

Yes you can be seen and treated by emergency dentist o have the teeth treated. You just need to call us asap to arrange for morning appointments.
The teeth appearing shorter is an important observation as the teeth may have intruded and if they are deciduous teeth, there is the risk of damage to permanent teeth. So must come and see us for assessment of the teeth asap.
