Excruciating toothache

Hi

I have been suffering from severe toothache over the last few hours. I had mild pain last week which I foolishly ignored and gradually over the last few days the pain became worst and suddenly tonight it has become very severe.

I cant sleep at all, I am now getting headaches and my tooth just hurts really badly whenever air or water pass over it. I have tried taking paracetamol and Ibuprofen but both have not made much of a difference to this pain.

I would like to know what you would recommend for this excruciating toothache? Are there any stronger painkillers that I should be taking? Are you able to prescribe anything stronger than what I have been using?

thank you for your question.

Sorry to hear your are in so much discomfort and the painkillers are not very effective. You may wish to consider nurofen plus if you are not asthmatic or have aspirin allergy. nurofen plus as an alternative pain killer as it has some quotation.

But from what you have explained in your question you may have irreversible Excruciating toothache that you need extirpation for it or have developed chronic infection which agin need extirpation and a course of antibiotics for treatment.
