Post Bad teeth / Rotten teeth

    Hi

I have two bad and rotten teeth at the back of my lower jaw and since monday, I have been getting terrible pain from the back of my jaw. I am not sure exactly from which tooth the throbbing pain is coming from but it seems to be hurting all along my lower jaw on that side and sometimes spreading to my top jaw as well. I think both of these rotten teeth probably need to be removed, because looking at them, there doesn't seem to be much left of them.

I have taken Ibuprofen and Paracetamol and they have made very little difference to the pain. I would like both of these teeth removed ASAP. Will the emergency dentist be able to remove these bad teeth if they are infected? If they cant remove these teeth, what can be done to stop the severe pain that I am getting?

Thumbs up Bad teeth / Rotten teeth

Our emergency dentists are very experienced and if a tooth needs to be removed, they can usually remove it for you. In rare circumstances, due to the severity of infection or limitation of mouth opening or local anaesthetic not working effectively, treatment might be delayed.

If the treatment is delayed, you will be provided with the right antibiotics and pain killers to help reduce the pain that you are suffering. But in most cases we can start treatment there and then and remove the teeth for you if they need to be removed.
