    Smile Broken incisor

    Hi

I was eating a toffee this morning and the edge of my incisor tooth just broke off and left a sharp edge on my incisor. The tooth is a bit sensitive to air and cold water and I am worried that more of it might break away.

Can you if your emergency dentists can see me tonight and what they can do for my broken incisor? Last time my tooth at the back broke, the dentist placed a crown on top of it. I am not sure if this broken tooth will need a crown, are there any more simple treatments that can be done?

The emergency dentists can see you tonight, please call the emergency dental team on 0208 547 9997 to book an appointment.

A broken incisor can usually be repaired with composite bonding and that usually works well. Occasionally a dental crown may become necessary.
