Exclamation gum Swelling next to my tooth

I have noticed a swelling next to one of my teeth yesterday thats gradually getting bigger. I was hoping that it would go down with mouthwash and salt water but it seems to be getting bigger instead.

Does anybody know what this swelling is and how it should be treated.

    Thumbs up Gum swelling

Usually, a swelling occurs because of an infection. There might be a slight infection in your teeth or gum tissue, or there might even be large amount of abscess & Pus that has to be drained.

An infected swelling would usually feel quite tender and warm to touch. You need to see a dentist immediately to assess the cause of this swelling. You can find out more about our 24 hour Emergency here Emergency dentist in Kingston emergency dentist, dental emergency Kingston
