    Question Broken Dental Veneer

    Dear guys

Whilst I was eating dinner last night, to my horror my porcelain veneer fractured. Looking in the mirror I could see a small bit of tooth now visible when I smile. I called my local dental practice this morning and they are saying that it will take 2 weeks for a replacement veneer to be made.

I cant wait 2 weeks because I have meetings next week and this tooth now looks horrible. Could You please help me.

    Talking Broken Dental Veneer

If a Broken Veneer has split into two clean pieces, it can sometimes be cemented back on to the tooth as a temporary measure until a permanent veneer is produced. It usually looks good if its done well.

If a Veneer has broken into several pieces, it cant be cemented even temporarily and in this situation, we can produce a cosmetic composite veneer as a temporary measure until the new veneer is produced by the lab.

Our labs can usually produce a new Veneer in one week but a Lumineer will take longer as its produced in California.
