    Talking Broken teeth

    Hello

I have two broken teeth that broke down about eighteen months ago and since then I have left them as they are because they have not caused any pain. Now I am feeling that I should do something to save these teeth.

I would like to know if broken teeth always need to be extracted or can they be saved with fillings or caps or something. I rather not lose them and wish I had done something about them sooner, but I just been a bit too busy.

    Default Broken teeth

    Hi,

    Thank you for your question.

We certainly try not to remove your broken tooth and will try to fix and save it if the tooth is restorable. Having no pain is not always a good indication and so I suggest to come and see us asap for an assessment and treatment.

What can be need to restore your teeth can be as little as a filling up to core build up+ a crown. In some cases may be more treatment is needed but the tooth has be examined clinically before one can say if any other treatment is needed.

What is most important to me is the cause of your teeth braking down and that has to be identified and corrected. Because if you do not then there is the possibility of you fracturing more teeth and more expense and who knows may be even toothache. So you need to be seen soon and we would be happy to see you and assist you.
