    Question Teeth pain

    Hello

I have been suffering from teeth pain all day today. The pain seems to be coming from one of my top back right side teeth but I am not sure exactly which tooth is the pain coming from. I have been running my finger over the teeth, at seems it might be the one from the back tooth up there.

I have taken two paracetamol tablets already today but the pain has not gone yet. I am worried that I might have infection in one of those teeth at the back. Also I am diabetic, so I have been told by my doctor that I must avoid things that could cause infection.

If this teeth pain is caused by infection up there, would it need antibiotics? I am allergic to penicillin, so I don't know what type of antibiotic I would need to have for this pain.

Without seeing you, I don't know what the cause of your teeth pain is and antibiotics are usually not the solution for toothache.

So I would recommend you book an emergency consultation, so that we can assess your teeth and establish the cause of your toothache and treat it as necessary.
