Hello
I recently had a silver filling done and the tooth is taking longer than I anticipated to settle down. The tooth seems to ache when I put pressure on it when I am chewing.
At the time, I was given the option of silver filling or a white filling and I decided to have a silver one because it was cheaper and because it was a back tooth, I didn't mind having a silver tooth.
Now I am wondering if I made the right call, because I really find it hard to chew on that tooth and the pain that I get from that tooth is very severe. I would like to know if I changed the silver filling to a white filling will the pain that I am getting stop?
The problem that I have is that I work long hours and its difficult to get free time to have this tooth sorted out. Are your emergency dentists able to remove the silver filling and change it to a white filling tomorrow night after work, say around 9pm?
