Emergency dental clinic

I have been to see my dentist this morning after I had toothache all day Sunday and he told me that my bottom right wisdom tooth needs to be removed because it has become infected.

My dentist has offered to refer me to the hospital surgery department to remove the tooth because he does not do wisdom tooth extractions in his clinic. The hospital say that they have a waiting list and I will have to wait until I reach the top of the list.

I would like to know if the emergency dental clinic could remove my wisdom tooth this week, because I am going on holiday next week and would like this problem resolved before I go on holiday.
