    Angry Toothache all night

    Hello

I have been having severe toothache all night from one of my back left teeth. I am not sure if the pain is coming from the top or the bottom teeth as it seems to come from both at different times and its very severe.

I have tried ibuprofen and paracetamol and both are not even touching the pain and all last night I had toothache and even swishing my mouth with alcohol did not make the pain go away and I only managed to sleep for a few hours last night. This morning the pain is back although not severe as last night but I am worried that the toothache will become more severe again tonight.

What painkiller do you advise that I take or do you think I need to see an emergency dentist. I am petrified of dentists so thats why I am trying to put it off but if I can be sedated, I am willing to come in to see a dentist. Please advise.

It sounds like that you need to see the emergency dentist urgently rather than taking more and more painkillers. We are able to sedate you subject to you being medically fit for that and being able to bring an escort with you to take you home afterwards.
