Emergency dentist open over christmas and new year?

I have been in severe pain from my wisdom tooth over the past four hours. Yesterday I saw my own dentist and he recommended that I use a mouthwash to help the gum around my wisdom tooth. I was also given some pain killers which have not made any difference at all to the pain.

Over the past few hours I have been in so much pain that I can no longer tolerate this toothache and would like this wisdom tooth removed immediately. i know my own dentists are now closed until 6th January and I cant wait that long with this toothache.

Do you have any emergency dentists that work over the christmas and new year period who can remove this wisdom tooth for me? Is there anything that I can do in the meantime to stop the toothache?

I was just perusing the Pearl Dental Clinic Website and noted the difficulty which you experienced with your wisdom tooth during Christmas 2010 period. I do hope that this matter has now resolved with help from your own dentist. You were correct in contacting Pearl Dental Clinic who also provide emergency and specialist dental services such as Oral Surgery for more difficult wisdom teeth which most dental practices would not provide as a routine service. I work as an emergency dentist and provide limited (3 hour) sessional services from practices in West London but appointments must be booked through NHS direct helpline number for pain relief and advise/assessment prior to patients returning to their own dentists or otherwise to soon register with one.
