Thumbs down My impacted wisdom tooth hurts

    Hello

I have an impacted wisdom tooth in my lower jaw on the right side which has been hurting periodically over the last two months. My dentist says that because its impacted it has decayed and should be removed at the hospital but I am still waiting for the hospital to see me and I am in agony right now and would like the tooth removed today. Is it possible to remove the tooth today even if its infected and if so, how much do you charge for wisdom tooth extractions?

Lightbulb My impacted wisdom tooth hurts

If a wisdom tooth can be anaesthetized with local anaesthesia and there is adequate mouth opening for access to the tooth, then we can remove the tooth for you today. The sooner the source of an infection is removed, the better for the patient.

We only delay treatment if you are unable to open your mouth wide enough for access or the tooth is so infected that it cant be anaesthetized adequately or if you have a serious medical condition that needs clearance form your medical practitioner. Wisdom tooth extractions range in cost between £75 and £250 depending on case complexity.
