Red face What to do with burnt gum?

    Hello

I was eating pizza last night for dinner and I think it must have been too hot because it has burnt the gum around the roof of my mouth at the front so badly that it feels raised and sore. I don't know what can be done for this burnt gum? Should I see the emergency dentist? Is it possible that the burnt gum might peel off the roof of my mouth?

    Thank you for your question.

You need to see an emergency dentist to assess the damage done to the soft tissues that have been burnt. In many situations, the soft tissue will recover without treatment.
