    Unhappy Tightly positioned wisdom tooth

    Dear Folks,

My lower right wisdom is planned for extraction - it is non-vital, and tightly positioned, and is crumbling away.

Its apex is quite close to the inferior nerve and so my usual dentist is not confident to extract it, and I am waiting and waiting for the arrangements........

I just found your website and it looks like you are the people who can do the job!

The tooth has previously given severe pain, but currently has a dull ache. Its condition is getting worse and I am also going abroad in 4 weeks time, and we know what is likely to happen!!

Is it possible that this extraction could be done in the next week or two?

    Many Thanks for your help

    Smile Tightly positioned wisdom tooth

    Thank you for your question.

We need to see you first to see if we are the right people for the job. But thanks for the compliment. Wisdom teeth extractions carry risks such as temporary/permanent change in sensation of your lip/chin and tongue. So we need to carefully assess your wisdom tooth to see if its safe to remove it.

A cone beam CT scan can show us more information regarding the risks involved with this extraction. If we can do the extraction, we can usually do it within 24 hours of presentation.
