Loose tooth hurting

Hello

I have had pain from my back molar tooth for the past 3 days so severe that the pain brings tears to my eyes when I try to put pressure on my back molar tooth.

I have seen my own dentist yesterday and she suggested that I have a loose tooth which will need to be removed because it has got bone loss and gum disease around it.

I am worried that I will lose my teeth one by one and would like to know if there is any treatment that could save my teeth so that I don't have to wear dentures.

Gum disease is a major cause of tooth loss and if left untreated, it can do a lot of damage to your remaining teeth. I would recommend that you see a periodontist (gum expert) for a full gum assessment and treatment to try and save as many teeth as you can.

You may have teeth that cant be saved but the periodontist usually tries to save as many teeth as possible. I believe a full case 1 hour assessment with the periodontist including all Xrays costs £100.
