Knocked out tooth

Hi

Unfortunately in an accident last week my tooth was knocked out and I took it to my dentist today and he said that the tooth cant be put back in because the tooth has now died.

I now have a gap between my front teeth which is very embarrassing when I smile and would like it replaced as soon as possible with something cosmetic. I cant afford dental implants at the moment but might consider them in future.

As an emergency interim measure do you have any solutions that could cover this gap between my teeth and buy me a little time for me to decide which option would be better for my teeth?

If I go for a different option now, could I still go for dental implants to replace this lost tooth or do I have to go for an implant now, If I want to have a dental implant.
