wisdom tooth extraction

today i got 1 off my wisdom teeth out as it was making me have an abcess and it was really sore my dentist extracted it for me it is really sore and still bleeding is this normal?

Minor blood oozing after wisdom teeth extractions should be treated by applying a sterile gauze to the area and bitting on that for 10 minutes. If bleeding stops then thats great but if it does not, you need to be seen by a dentist to assess the cause of the bleeding and possibly place sutures to stop the bleeding.
