Hi, I have a loose tooth at the front of my mouth, which I think is too bad to save. I have had gum disease for years, partly due to my smoking which i have now given up.
What i want to know is that when the tooth is removed, will I have to walk around initially with a gap at the front of my mouth? Iv heard about implants and I prefer to have that rather than a denture as I dont think I will be able to tolerate a bulky piece of plastic in my mouth.
Is placing a dental implant an option for me considering my reduced bone levels?
