Loose implant crown

Hi

I had an implant placed whilst I used to live in the middle east about 10 years ago. My implant crown has been feeling loose since two days ago but it has not come out yet and now I am worried that I may swallow the crown if it comes out whilst I am asleep.

I have rang a few dental practices and they all tell me that I need to know the make and model of my implant before they can repair the crown on top it for me. My problem is that my dentist has now retired and I cant find the name and I dont know the make and model of the implant.

I think the crown is one of those thats attached to the implant below with a screw. Why can't the dentists in London just tighten the crown screw and make it more more firm again? Any ideas?

Thank you for your post. Each implant system uses its own parts and equipment. If you have a screw retained crown, we would need to know which implant system has been used for your implant. If you have a cement retained crown and your abutment is ok, we can usually recement the crown for you.

I am sure if you call your dentists dental practice, they will be able to look at his records and find out which implant brand has been used.
