Hi

I have seen that you offer various dental implant packages with different prices on your site. I would like to know what is the difference between these dental implant packages?

What exactly does each implant package include and what is an abutment? One of your implant packages says it includes implant and abutment and crown. I don't understand what an abutment is, could you please explain.

An abutment is the connection between the implant in the jaw and the crown in the mouth. Without an abutment the crown will not join up with the implant.

Our dental implant packages all consist of a straumann fast healing SLActive implant and a Straumann abutment and a precious metal ceramic crown.

You can have the implant package either carried out by a specialist oral surgeon at a rate of £1690 or a general dentist at a rate of £1390.
