implant fees

I am thinking of having implants. Presently I have a set of dentures which fit in the front (4 teeth).

Can you advise me more or less what I would be looking at for fees.

Thank you for your question.

It is always difficult to say how much a course of treatment would be without examining a patient. This is simply because having implants is not the case of placements of the implants and then the restoration on the top. Implant fees vary from case to case depending on the clinical situation. For example is there enough bone for placement of the implants and if there is not what type of bone grafting will be needed?

But considering that everything is of perfect condition and one is ready to have their implants placed without any underlying problem is the extraction of the standing teeth (depending whether they are savable or not),need of four implants and the denture on top. As a very rough guide we are talking about £8000 at oral surgeon rate and £6500 at general dentist rate. But one must be aware that this is just a very rough guide and can be less or more depending on the clinical situation.
