Hello
I have been to see two Implantologists regarding my missing tooth at the front, top of my mouth. Both of them recommended that I need bone grafting before I could have a dental implant placed in this region.
I know that bone grafting involves using bone substitute materials being placed under my gum for a few months. The issue that I have is that I will be moving to New Zealand in November and really would like this problem solved before I move abroad.
One implantologist said that if the implant did not need bone grafting, it could be finished by November. Both of them were not 100% sure if I need bone grafting or not but thought I would probably need it. Would your implantologist be able to tell me if I need bone grafting done or not? I would like to know where I stand with this issue before I start my implant treatment.
