An alternative to denture

I have lost a front tooth (Left upper). I had it extracted 8 weeks ago, I had a re-occurring abscess under it & it came loose, at the moment I have a small denture, which I hate!

I am considering having an implant if it is possible. I am very impressed with your website, & the SLActive implant System. Would I still have to have my denture while waiting for the implant to heal or is there an alternative?

Yes there is the alternative of having sticky bridges to replace a missing tooth until your implant is completed. In most of the situations it is a possibility but in some cases it is not. So what I suggest is to come and see us for implant consultation which is free and we assess the situation for you. The advantage of the denture is that it is easily removed when you are receiving treatment for your implant where as the bridge that is cemented to the adjacent teeth next to the gap has to be removed and re-cemented every time that you have treatment but it can certainly be considered as an alternative option.
