    Question wobbly teeth

I am in need of your help. I have two teeth missing at the front below. One missing at the top front, a very wobbly one next to it and i do believe that it is hanging by a string. One the other side is also a wobbly, and at the back a protruding one in an awkward position. What am i to do. I need to communicate with people quite a lot and my plight is not a pleasant one.

Can i extract all of these and have implants. What am i to do. This seems like a challenge as i am a working person and my manager might not be that lenient with the time. Can you advices me?

    Default wobbly teeth

    Hi,

    Thank yo for your question.

First thing is that you do need to worry so much because every problem you have is easily fixable. From you you mention it appears that you suffer from gum or otherwise known as periodontal disease. What we must do first is to see you and assess your case clinically. If my judgement is correct, then you be be treated with our periodontist to stabilize the teeth that are savable and remove the ones that are not.

if any of the front teeth must be extracted or any other teeth then they can be temporarily replaced by different means, depending on the situation, until your gum disease is well controlled and you are ready for placement of implants and your final permanent restorations. You see the complication with cases like yourself is that if one suffers from periodontal disease, which is the loss of bony support around the root of the teeth and hence teeth becoming wobbly, it is not advisable to have implant placed because implants can be affected by this condition and you ending up losing the bone around your implants and they becoming loose too! So gum disease has to be corrected and stabilized first.

The icing on the cake is that you do not need to even worry about your boss and them not being lenient on taking time off work. At Pearl Dental Clinic we know this and that a lot of the patients would like to come and see us at times which does not interfere with their working hours. So we are open 7 days a week and till late in the evenings so we can accommodate all of our patients at times that best suit them. So no need to worry at all and just come and see us and we will sort it out for you.
