    Default Dental implants and diabetes

Can someone with borderline diabetes take the risk of having dental implants? Or are the complications not worth the risk? Is there anything someone with diabetes can do to better their chances of successful implant surgery?

well controlled diabetes is not a problem and we can treat those patients with dental implants. Poorly controlled diabetes especially if accompanied with active gum disease is a contraindication for dental implants.
