Default Dental implant placed in the wrong place

    Hi

About 18 months ago I had a dental implant placed in Hungary by a surgeon who was recommended to me. Unfortunately the cap on top of the implant kept coming off and I had to see three different dentists in the UK to have the implant crown stuck back on. All three dentists told me that this crown will keep coming off because the implant underneath it is placed in the wrong place.

At this point what options are open to me, will the dental implant have to be redone or can it be repositioned into the correct place?

    Thank you for your advice.

I am afraid that once an implant integrates with bone, it can no longer be moved in bone. So if its completely in the wrong position and can not be restored, then the only thing that can be done is for it to be drilled out and replaced with a new dental implant in the correct position. Bone grafting may also be needed.
