How soon can I have a dental implant?

Hi

I had my front tooth removed two weeks ago after it became infected and fractured. My dentist gave me a denture and said that he will refer me to somebody else for an implant. I would like to have an implant as soon as possible because I cant get on with the denture. How soon after a tooth is removed, can an Implant be placed? Do I have any alternatives to this denture for the time being?

In most cases, the ideal time after extraction, for Implant placement is at the 6 - 8 week mark.

At Pearl Dental Clinic we can see you straight away for the initial consultation, with one of our team of experienced Dentists. During this consultation our Dentist will assess your case, and then discuss your options with you. We will then be able to give you a treatment plan and should you wish to go ahead, an appointment for surgery can usually be arranged within a month of your initial consultation.

During this initial consultation our Dentist can also check your Denture to see if anything can be done to make it more comfortable or go over any other temporary options that may be available to you whilst you are waiting for surgery.

Take the advice of some dentist and then go for tooth implant, I am thinking of a tooth implant as well because of a rusty tooth it pains a lot.
