Would an implant be able to replace my baby tooth?

I am 29 and I still have 2 baby teeth on my lower jaw, but one of them is badly rotted and slightly loose. My dentist advised me to have both of these teeth extracted and replaced with two implants.

Do you think dental implants could work and how much would they cost?
