    Thumbs down Loose dental implant

    Hi there!

Few months ago I had a dental implant done in Hungary and since then I had problems with it. Recently, the implant has become loose and I am afraid I will lose it.

My dentist said that if I lose the implant, it would be impossible for me to have another one done, as there would be not enough bone left. Please tell me what is your opinion about my case.

    Exclamation Loose dental implant

Without seeing your dental implant I cant give an accurate opinion on your situation. Generally speaking if an implant fails due to bone loss and has to be removed, then the causes of bone loss such as gum disease need to be treated first and if the patient still wishes to have an implant, then block bone grafting and new implant placement will become necessary.
