implant crown

I lost one of my front teeth a few years ago and the gap was left as it was for a long time (years). Now it is probably too small for a normal looking tooth. I was thinking about having a small crown on a dental implant. Would that be possible and how much would it cost?

A dental implant needs a minimum of 6mm of space for it to be placed safely and without hitting the roots of the neighbouring teeth. If you dont have this amount of space and wish to have a dental implant, then you need orthodontic treatment to create more space. As an alternative you could opt to have a bridge if you dont wish to have orthodontic treatment.

One other point, to create space for an implant, you could also have Invisalign invisible aligners which are nearly invisible and would do a similar job to fixed braces in creating space for the implant.
