Same day implants

I have been wearing full top and bottom dentures for a few years now and gradually my bone and gums have shrunk and my dentures have become looser and looser. My dentist says that I can have dental implants but because I have lost a lot of jaw bone, he says that I will need to have bone buildups and then I have to wait for dental implants. He is estimating at least 1.5 years for the whole procedure. I read on your site that you do same day implants. If you have lost your teeth and some of your bone and wish to have dental implants, then same day implants could be a good choice for you. The all on four implant system works by replacing all of the teeth in one arch with four implants and a fixed implant supported bridge on top. Its ideal for those cases where some bone loss exists.

The procedure for all on four dental implants is as follows:

1. Case Assessment and bone assessment with cone beam CT scans.
2. Impressions and planning
3. Implant placement in the morning
4. Temporary bridge placement in the afternoon
5. Review
6. After a few months, replacing the temporary bridge with a permanent bridge.
