Can I have dental implants if I have a large sinus?

Hi

I have lost my back molar teeth on the top on both sides. This has meant that I cant chew food very easily. I tried having a top denture but it was so uncomfortable that I gave up on that idea. My dentist says that I cant have dental implants because my sinus's are very large and there is not enough bone in that region for dental implants. Is there a way that I can still have dental implants?

You can have dental implants if you have a large sinus. You will need a sinus lift if there is insufficient bone available in that region. Sinus lift surgery in the right hands is very successful and allows bone to become available for implants in the upper posterior region of the mouth.
