Question Gold tooth on an implant post

    Hi there,

I'm considering having an implant in a gap next to one of my front teeth. I lost the tooth some years ago and have had a gap there for a long time. My concerns are that the gap my have closed up to a point where a normal looking tooth would not be accommodated, if I was thinking about having a gold tooth on the implant post.

Would this be possible and how much would it add to the cost.

    Thanks.

Wink Gold tooth on an implant post

    Thank you for your question.

Gold crown on an implant post is possible however an implant needs a minimum of 5.5mm space and if you dont have this space, you will need to do invisalign treatment or orthodontics to create the space for the implant.

Otherwise you could go for another option such as a bridge or denture.
