Eight top Eight bottom

Hi what teeth i have need comming out and i require 8 top and 8 bottom are you able to insert four inserts and eight crowns like they do with the mini inserts or what other options do i have and most of all a rough quote thanks in advance.

We would really need to see you before we can give you a treatment plan and costings for such treatment because there are many variables, (i.e your medical history, the amount of bone that you have, the number of implants that you require, the need for sinus lifting or not and the type of final restoration that you require).

iv been looked at by a place up north i have been xrayed theres no problem with bone if all my teeth was removed they was going to carry on with the implants but i would prefer to have the work done closer to me i understand u cannot give an accurate quote but i would need an idea 20 grand is not an option they was or are going to charge me 9 grand for mini implants thats for 4 posts top and 4 bottom and a full rack of teeth but i only want 8 top and 8 bottom to keep costs down.

Ok, as long as you accept that this is a ball park figure and not a quote.

Assuming that your bone is ok and you need no sinus lifts or bone grafting and that all your teeth are removed, then you have two implant options.

Option 1. To have two implant retained dentures. You will need four implants at the top and the same for the bottom and two complete dentures on top of these. This would cost:

8*£1690=£13520 Implant cost
2*£2000=£4000 denture cost

Total = £17520


Option 2. To have two implant retained bridges in each jaw. Now your plan to have eight top and eight bottom teeth is a bit too few teeth for chewing function. However with 10 top teeth and 10 lower teeth, your chewing function would be reasonable.

For the 10 top teeth and 10 lower teeth option that I just mentioned, you will need 6 implants at the top and 6 implants in the lower jaw and four bridges in total.

4*£2000=£8000 Bridge cost

Total=£28280


We never use mini implant because they just dont last as long as full sized implants and we only use premium Straumann fast healing implants.
