Whats the difference between implants+denture & implants+bridge options?

I have lost all my top teeth and over the years have been using a plate. I still have most of my lower teeth though. Now I am looking into having implants to replace the top plate.

From my research I have found that I can either have a denture held in with implants or a bridge held in with implants. What are the difference between these options and what would be the cost difference?

For a denture option you will need 2-4 implants in order to retain the denture but for a bridge option you will need a minimum of 6 implants. So the cost of the bridge option is higher.

Usually the patients find the bridge option more comfortable as it does not have to be removed by the patient and the bridge option is less bulky than a denture.

The indications for each option varies from patient to patient and you will need to be seen for a consultation in order to have a definitive treatment plan.
