Replacing denture with an implant

Hi

I have a loose upper denture that I have had for almost 2 years since I lost my upper front tooth in a football accident. The denture was made by my dentist at the time, he said at the time that a bridge will be very damaging to my other top teeth. I decided to go with the denture option because I didn't want my other teeth to be damaged unnecessarily.

However, I don't get on very well with this denture and most of the time I take it out and only wear it when I am outside the house. I was thinking if there was an option of replacing the denture with an implant? I don't know if I will need bone grafting and I am looking to have a consultation first to find out. Could you tell me a rough cost estimate of one implant and bone grafting.

A removable denture can usually be replaced with a fixed implant as long as there are no medical contraindications to implant surgery. We need to assess your implant site to see if bone grafting is necessary but without bone grafting, a complete implant would cost between £1390 and £1690 at Pearl dental clinic.
