Hi
I have six tooth dental bridge that has two false teeth and 4 natural teeth holding the bridge on my upper jaw (front). The dental bridge is about 15 years old. My dentist has told me that 2 of my natural teeth holding the bridge are infected and needs to be extracted. However, he also informs me that the other 2 that are not infected needed to be extracted too as these have been heavily worked on when the bridge was originally done. I also have another tooth to be extracted.
To give you a clearer picture:-
Central incisor = 2 x false teeth (removed aged 13)
Lateral incisor = 2 x both infected and to be extracted
Canine = 2 x part of the bridge no infection but was advised to be extracted.
First premolar = 1 x right hand side
I'm not particulary keen on having dentures and would prefer a more permanent option.
Can you tell me how many implants I would need and how much will this cost? Will I also need bone grafting if so how much will this cost?
