What happens next?
The Emergency Dentist service is available between 9am-10pm, seven days a week, on all Bank Holidays, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
The emergency dentist number (0203 750 5300), will put you through an experienced dental receptionist who has been trained to treat your dental emergency with urgency and ensure that you are seen in the clinic on the same day. Alternatively you can Book Your Appointment Online, 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year and be Seen on the Same day.
On arrival at the Clinic you will be met by our reception team who will welcome you and ask you to fill in a simple medical history form on the iPad.
A dentist member of our dental team will then take you into the surgery and take your pain/emergency history and carry out a consultation and any special investigations such as digital x-rays to determine the most appropriate type of emergency treatment necessary.
This can be complete emergency treatment or temporary emergency treatment that may be followed up by further appointments later.
Should you wish to return to your own dentist for the completion of your treatment, you are welcome to do so. We will provide you with a copy of any digital X-rays that we have taken at no additional cost, so that your own dentist can complete the rest of your treatment.
Should you wish to complete your dental treatment with us, we have an in-house team consisting of 5 general dentists, 5 dental Specialists (Endodontist, Prosthodontist, Periodontist, Orthodontist, Oral Surgeon), 1 dental hygienist, 1 Sedationist medical doctor and 1 dental technician.
Many local dental practices refer their patients to us for emergency or specialist dental care and we return their patients back to them once we have managed the patients dental problems.

Registering with us as a private patient
To book an emergency dental appointment, it is not necessary for you to be an existing patient at Pearl Dental Clinic. Once we have carried out your emergency treatment you can go back to see your regular dentist if you wish or stay on and register as a regular private patient with our clinic.
The types of emergency dental treatments that we provide
Some examples of emergency dentistry calls that we receive are for toothache, chipped or broken teeth, broken crowns, broken veneers, crown or bridge, tooth abscess, loose teeth or crowns, loose implant crowns, root canal treatments, broken orthodontic braces, broken dentures, tooth extractions including wisdom tooth extractions and gum infections.
For those patients that need a new dental crown in a single day, we provide CEREC same-day dental crowns.
We have an on-site denture technician which means we can repair broken dentures or provide new custom-made dentures on the same-day.
Where antibiotics and strong painkillers are required, we are able to dispense the medication to you on-site, so that you do not need to find an out of hours pharmacy.
Fees & 0% Finance
You will always be provided with a full printed treatment plan so that you are fully aware of the costs involved with your treatment before any treatment begins. For sake of transparency, the dental fee guide is published on the web site.
We provide 0% Finance on most treatments allowing you to spread the cost of your dental treatment without paying interest. Dental Finance can be arranged within a few hours during normal office hours by sending the completed application form to Dental Finance.
