Teeth whitening ‘to become more popular’
More people are likely to get their teeth whitened next year.
There will be a rise in the number of people looking to have teeth whitening procedures carried out in 2010, it has been claimed.
Beauty and technology expert Zara Rabinowicz said as the financial climate begins to change and people start putting money worries behind them, there is likely to be an increase in cosmetic surgery treatments, with many Brits looking to have teeth whitening.
She commented: “Products will get more advanced and procedures such as Botox will become a lot more common … alongside the rise in teeth whitening – partly due to the influence of shows like The X Factor.”
Ms Rabinowicz added although there is likely to be less concern over money next year, Brits will still be looking for good value and as such, will not be spending cash on expensive products needlessly.
According to research carried out by Mintel, the next generation of high-tech products – which they name Turbo Beauty 4G – will continue to capitalise on advances in biochemistry and incorporate use of nanotechnology in beauty products.
