Dr Richard Hixson from Black Rock Dental in the US said patients can choose how much brighter they would like their teeth to go and in the hands of a professional, teeth whitening treatments can be extremely successful.

He claimed: “Whitening your teeth has become more and more common over the years. There are many at home treatments, but not all are successful.”
