Jodie Marsh shares Instagram photos after Botox injections

Fri

Former glamour model Jodie Marsh surprised her 373,000 Instagram followers by posting a picture of herself wearing minimal make-up and looking unrecognisable from her previous self. The 37-year-old said that the picture was taken after having Botox treatment in Milton Keynes.

Jodie’s fans quickly encouraged her minimalist look, telling her she looks beautiful in the picture she posted online.

Alongside the picture, the model wrote that she had visited Nilam Patel Dermaspa in order to have a ‘collagen wave facial treatment’ that is supposed to take years off the complexion. As well as the facial treatment, the newly-wed admitted that she had also decided to get a little bit of Botox to smooth out wrinkles and make her look younger. She added that her nurse Brigid gave her ‘a tiny bit’ of Botox’ and praised her as being ‘the best in the business’.

Jodie was obviously feeling positive about her new look, saying that she was ‘looking and feeling better’ after her appointment. She went on to say that Brigid would ‘never let you go mad on the injectables’ and if she felt that the patient would not require a particular cosmetic treatment she would tell them in order to help them avoid ‘looking silly’ after having too much work done.

Website reveals how cost of dental veneers varies across the UK

Tue

According to new research by an online search engine Wolverhampton is the cheapest place in the UK to get dental veneers fitted, with Stratford-upon-Avon being the most expensive. If you are looking for quality treatment at lower prices you should really consider the area in which you are about to make an appointment – post codes definitely affect the price of dental care, if new research is to be believed.

Healthcare website whatclinic.com showed that the UK average cost for a private check-up is £36; Stratford-upon-Avon dentists charge substantially higher than that, with the average price being about £67. In contrast, a standard check-up in Bradford could be as little as £15.

If you are thinking about getting costly dental treatment you should look into the clinic options to try and save money – and also to make sure that you are getting the best quality dental care that is available to you.

The website examined the fees charged for consultations at 11,000 private dentists throughout the country, as well as the price for a number of other cosmetic treatments, including teeth whitening and dental veneers. Close behind Stratford-upon-Avon came Newbury, Guildford, Milton Keynes, and Tunbridge Wells.

Cosmetic dentistry could be discussed at drop-in sessions

Thu

Drop-in sessions for families could see cosmetic dentistry discussionsParents in Milton Keynes were this week invited to take their children to a drop-in session, an event which could be ideal for those seeking advice on cosmetic work for youngsters.

According to the Cosmetic Dentistry Guide, the clinic was held earlier this week and was aimed at parents and children who are not registered with an NHS dentist in the Milton Keynes area.

Among the items on offer were fluoride treatments that can help to protect teeth after a check-up and children were also given new toothbrushes to make sure they are not brushing their mouth with an unhygienic brush.

Mel Foxall, from the Oral Health Promotion Team, noted the benefits of drop-in sessions for promoting good dental hygiene from a young age.

One person who might have been paying particular care to her teeth this week – and who has been known to have cosmetic dentistry work in the past – is Kate Middleton, who will walk down the aisle tomorrow (April 29th) to marry Prince William. ADNFCR-2621-ID-800514831-ADNFCR
