Kim Cattrall ‘has tried botox’ but won’t go under the knife

Kim Cattrall 'has tried botox' but won't go under the knifeActress Kim Cattrall keeps her youthful glow by having Botox treatment on her face, but the star has claimed she will never go under the knife.

Speaking to the Los Angeles Times at the premiere of her new film Meet Monica Velour, the 54-year-old actress revealed she embraces the ageing process and will not succumb to surgery.

The Sex and the City actress previously admitted to having Botox treatment, but claimed she was too frightened of surgical procedures.

She said: "I want to embrace ageing because that is what is interesting."

Cattrall also commended actresses such as 76-year-old Judi Dench and 52-year-old Annette Bening for their natural complexions.

Well known for her role as sexy Samantha Jones in the popular Manhattan-based TV series, Cattrall plays middle-aged porn star Monica Velour who is the object of obsession for a fan in her upcoming film release.

The Liverpool-born actress will also star alongside Jeremy Irons and Sienna Miller's rumoured boyfriend Tom Sturridge in new film The Treehouse.ADNFCR-2621-ID-800494887-ADNFCR

Botox leads to ‘bright and beautiful eyes’

Botox leads to 'bright and beautiful eyes' Botox treatments can help reduce the signs of wrinkles and lines around tired eyes, a cosmetic dermatologist has claimed.

The treatment can be used to stop the development of wrinkles around the edges of the eyes, leaving a smooth and youthful looking surface.

Lines around the eyes are caused by a number of factors including stress, lack of sleep, smoking and, most commonly, the natural ageing process, but cosmetic procedures such as Botox can help keep wrinkles at bay.

Australian cosmetic dermatologist Professor Greg Goodman from the Dermatology Institute of Victoria stated that the appearance of bags and puffiness around the eyes are caused by the expansion of the pads that cushion the eyes in the socket.

Speaking to the Sydney Morning Herald, Professor Goodman said: "As you get tireder and tireder the muscle tone sags a bit and the secondary defence, that muscle tone that keeps the eye pads back if the wall is weak, then that will show more."

Reports have suggested that a number of celebrities have opted to try Botox, including Kylie and Dannii Minogue, Kim Cattrall and Simon Cowell.ADNFCR-2621-ID-800481551-ADNFCR
