Have ‘Friends’ fallen out over Botox injections?

According to American media sources, BFF’s Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox are feuding over Botox injections after Jen mentioned she was not a fan of the injectable. The actress spoke about her support of natural aging in a recent interview and called Botox ‘terrible’. According to an insider, Courteney was not happy with Jen voicing this opinion, as she has used Botox in the past.

A source close to both actresses said that Courteney is ‘furious’ with her best friend for ‘taking a backhanded slap at her appearance’. According to the insider, Courteney ‘called Jen on her nasty dig’ The discussion turned sour when the We Are The Millers star ‘fired back that Courteney should act her age and stop trying so hard to impress her young boyfriend.’ She also added that ‘women who don’t allow themselves to age naturally and gracefully are pathetic.’

The two women have been friends since their time on hit TV sitcom ‘Friends’ in the late 90’s and Aniston is even Godmother to Courteney’s daughter Coco, whom she shares with ex-husband David Arquette. Over their long friendship the two have had their ups and downs and the inside source does not expect the fight to last indefinitely, adding ‘They’re both sore right now. But knowing Jen and Courteney’s tempestuous history, they’ll kiss and make up eventually.’

Jennifer Aniston reveals she is not a fan of Botox

Friends star Jennifer Aniston has revealed that she has no plans to get Botox injections any time soon, even if her co-stars may have dabbled in cosmetic treatment in the past. The 45-year-old spoke to People magazine about her exercise regime and the lifestyle choices that keep her looking youthful as she reaches middle age.

It seems the actress is not a fan of cosmetic enhancement, unlike long-time friend Courteney Cox, who famously admitted that she had overdone the anti-wrinkle treatment in an effort to fight the signs of aging. In the interview, Aniston was asked whether she preferred facial wrinkles or Botox injections, she answered ‘wrinkles’, although later conceded that ‘nobody wants wrinkles.’ Referring to the facial treatment specifically she spoke about celebrities who have overdone it with the anti-wrinkle injections saying ‘Botox looks terrible.’

Aniston – who is engaged to actor Justin Theroux – also spoke about her commitment to exercise and healthy eating, saying ‘it’s not about bikini season, it’s about being healthy.’ The actress maintains that she does not take a break from working out, even in winter, and keeps up her regular exercise routine all year round. She added that ‘We want to have toned skin and legs and muscles and all that, but it’s really just about feeling great.’

Friends star talks about Botox use

It might be a surprise to learn that even the most glamorous of Hollywood stars have their flaws, and former Friends star Jennifer Aniston has confessed hers to InStyle magazine this week. You can’t deny the 42-year-old takes good care of herself and has barely showing any signs of aging, but that doesn’t mean she would turn down a helping hand now and again.

Famous for her role as Rachel Green in the hit sitcom, which ran for ten years, Jennifer admitted that she had tried cosmetic enhancement in the past, but felt that it wasn’t for her. ‘People think that I do a lot of injections, but I don’t.’ She told the magazine, adding that she felt a little ‘ridiculous’ after having treatment. Botox, collagen, and dermal fillers are all injectable solutions, used in the beauty industry to get rid of facial lines and wrinkles.

Ms Aniston seemed to shy away from the procedure, hinting that it can easily get overused, ‘I’m not saying that I haven’t tried it. But I see how it’s a slippery slope.’ She said. The Hollywood actress then went on to talk about her other beauty routines, which included getting her eyelashes tinted every three weeks, her fake tan topped up, and her split ends cut off. She also admitted that she had gained a little bit of weight since she quit smoking, but was adamant that she was happy in her skin.
