Sarah Harding’s appearance on ‘This Morning’ sparks cosmetic surgery rumours

Wed

Following the former Girl’s Allowed star’s recent appearance on the ‘This Morning’ show, furious speculation was sparked as to whether the star had undergone cosmetic surgery. During and after the show Twitter was alight with speculation about the star’s looks. One twitter follower said, “#sarahHarding she looks soooo different.”

Harding appeared on the show keen to discuss her new role in the musical adaptation of the early 90’s film, Ghost; however, the viewers seemed more interested in discussing her appearance than listening to her new career move. Another twitter user wrote, “I didn’t even recognise Sarah Harding on #ThisMorning, Where’s the Girls Aloud girl gone?”

Anita Rani, a presenter on the show, broached the subject with Harding, asking the question most viewers seemed eager to know, had she undergone plastic surgery or not? Her response was to laugh and deny the rumours. She also went on to move her eyebrows up and down in an attempt to prove she has not had Botox injections. When asked how she felt about cosmetic surgery she stated that she understands the insecurities women may face as they get older; however, they should embrace it and avoid surgery.

Girls Aloud singer debuts new look

Tue

She’s only thirty-year-old, but Sarah Harding was barely recognisable from the early days of Girls Aloud as she arrived for a photo-shoot in London this week. Sarah was joined by her band mates as she headed for an interview with BBC Radio 1 and the difference in appearance was startling as the ladies smiled for the cameras.

Harding seemed to be struggling to make facial expressions as she posed for the waiting photographers, in particular her lips had taken on the notorious ‘trout pout’ appearance of people who have overdone filler treatments. Experts were quick to speculate that the singer had had some work done; cosmetic surgeon Alex Karidis said it seemed like she had undergone Botox injections, commenting that ‘her forehead is smooth but when she does try to express herself forcefully there are lines where you don’t expect – it looks odd.’

Mr Karidis went on to describe the condition of her skin, saying ‘the only lines are just above her eyebrows and that’s the only area we don’t inject with Botox as it can make the brows look heavy.’ He also said that her lips had the appearance of having had dermal filler injections because ‘the lip border looks slightly raised and fuller than the body of the lips. That’s a good sign of dermal fillers – or at least it looks to me like perhaps she had the outline or borders of her lips accentuated with filler. I would suggest she had a bit of filler put into the body of the lips too to even the look out.’

Has Sarah Harding had Botox?

Tue

Pop star Sarah Harding has failed to clarify whether or not she has had Botox. The jury is still out as to whether or not Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding has had Botox.

In an interview with Closer magazine, she was coy about her choices of anti-ageing products and cosmetic surgery, declining to confirm rumours that she has opted for lip fillers and Botox in the past.

"Never say never. I'll try most things once and I'm not against it, but I'd probably be against talking about it," she commented.

Harding said she often despairs when she sees unflattering photographs of herself in the newspapers, adding that she is "sure they do things to them".

As a result, the newly-engaged performer said she puts her guard up when she goes to London and is only relaxed in her country home in front of the log fire.

It was recently speculated that Gwyneth Paltrow might have had Botox after she was photographed looking wrinkle-free in Hollywood.
