A new Botox treatment for lips is being trialed for use. The new development is making a debut in Australia. If successful, other countries such as the UK could adopt this new method. The new technique is named the ‘Botox Lip Flip’. Although it does not actually make the lips any bigger, it gives the illusion that it does.
The procedure focuses on adding Botox to specific muscles around the mouth. This technique accentuates the look of the lips and gives a voluptuous pout by relaxing the muscles and causing the lip to flip or roll out. If this procedure becomes successful we could see a decline in dermal filler treatments for the lips. However, there are some downsides to the Lip Flip. If too much Botox is administered then the lips may not move at all, whereas using less means the results will not last as long. There are certainly some creases to iron out here but the process could end up being very popular in the future.
