She might not have any problems in the looks department right now, but Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan is prepared to undergo Botox injections to keep aging lines and wrinkles at bay as she gets older. The 27-year-old – whose final scenes at character Tina McIntyre aired this week – spoke to New! magazine about the possibility of getting anti-aging injections to maintain her youthful appearance.
Ms Keegan told the magazine that she didn’t see anything wrong with the treatment but she is wary of having too much work done as her job as an actress requires facial movement and visible emotion – something that might be affected if she were to have too much Botox injected. She explained that ‘it gets picked up on screen and you need emotion in your face. But you never know further down the line.’
Newly-engaged Michelle also talks about her fiancé’s daily routine and how long he takes to get ready; according to the soap actress, Mark is ‘very laid back’ about his appearance and only takes ten minutes to get ready, despite the public perception that he is ‘really preened.’ Michelle added that she doesn’t mind ‘men looking after themselves’ but she prefers ‘a man to be a man!’
