On a routine trip to the dental clinic social media editor for the Huffington Post, Chris York, was more than a little surprised to find himself in the company of the fastest man in the world, Usain Bolt. The sprinter seemed to be in good spirits despite partying all night in London with friends and was happy to pose with the editor for a picture.
Chris York was dropping some paperwork at the reception and was shocked when he realised that one of the world’s most famous athletes was sat just a few feet away. Chris said he spotted ‘someone rather familiar-looking sat in reception. I glanced at the receptionist and she nodded and said ‘yes it is.’ He described the occurrence as ‘pretty surreal’ and explained that Usain did not say what he was at the dentist’s for but entertained those in the reception by making jokes and ‘having a laugh.’ Chris added ‘He seemed in good spirits considering the night before.’
Usain was pictured earlier in the day making his way home after a night out partying in London and his ‘walk of shame’ was widely documented by the public, although he seemed to be coping with his hangover in a typically jovial style; the sprinter appeared no worse for wear despite spending the night partying and drinking.
